My work revolves around the themes of motherhood and the socialization of the feminine over the last century. It’s about a kind of blind spot, a grey area of private life that I want to make artistically accessible. And which, due to its private character, allows unvarnished conclusions to be drawn about the self-image of our (contemporary) society.
